Training

Koori Radio is committed to building skills and creating opportunities for communities to tell their own stories through audio. Our introductory, non-accredited training is designed for organisations, community groups and workplaces looking to develop practical skills in radio and audio production.

We offer introductory non-accredited training for your employees or community members on the use of audio recording and editing devices. Participants will gain hands-on experience in recording high-quality audio, editing interviews and stories, and learning the fundamentals of audio production in a supportive and engaging environment.

Training will take place in our studios at Cope Street, Redfern, giving participants the opportunity to learn in a professional broadcasting environment while experiencing Australia's leading First Nations community radio station. Sessions can be tailored to suit the needs of your organisation or community group, with a focus on practical, real-world skills that participants can apply immediately.

Whether you're looking to build confidence in audio storytelling, community broadcasting or digital content creation, Koori Radio's training provides an excellent introduction to the world of audio production.
