We are proud to provide a welcoming and supportive workplace where people can bring their skills, share their ideas, learn from one another and contribute to meaningful work that makes a difference in the lives of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
With a strong connection to community and a commitment to sharing First Nations voices, stories, music and culture, Gadigal Information Service offers a unique environment to build a career, develop new skills and be part of something bigger. Whether you are starting your career, looking for a new challenge or bringing years of experience to the team, there are opportunities to grow, contribute and make a positive impact.
Our history, our community, our future
Gadigal Information Service has a proud history of supporting First Nations voices, cultural expression and community connection. Through its work, the organisation has helped create opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples to tell their stories, celebrate their achievements, share their culture and connect with audiences across Sydney and beyond.
At the heart of our work is Koori Radio, a vital platform for First Nations music, news, current affairs, arts and culture. Alongside our broadcasting work, GIS supports a range of exciting initiatives that bring people together, nurture emerging talent and create pathways for the next generation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander creatives, leaders and professionals.
Our programs reflect the diversity, strength and creativity of our communities. Together, they provide opportunities to work across media, music, events, youth engagement, administration, production, communications and community development.
Discover the opportunities across our programs
